What can I say?
Dishwashers tend to be much of a muchness in my experience. I once had a Zanussi, it worked very well. Ten I had a Smeg which didn't clean quite so well but was otherwise pretty similar in every respect.Well now I have this Kenwood. I bought it because it seemed a very popular (common) model, and I got a really good deal on it. It's quiet (not silent, but not bothersome in any way) has 9 different washes (I've been using it on setting 5 which is fairly quick and economical in both terms of water and electricity) and this seems to do the job fine.My only gripe (and why I will give it only 4 stars) is this - the cutlery basket is a fiasco. Firstly, it's slightly curved - what's the point, to make it stronger? It just wastes a tiny bit of space like that. Secondly - and this is the real issue - the slots in it are mostly not big enough to take my cutlery. Compounding this is the fact that they are made up of a complex and inexplicably array of varying shapes/sizes - so you really need to refer to or memorize the handbook for what should go where. Also it doesn't stay clipped in lace on the main thing. So, perfect except spoiled by a rubbish cutlery rack.Read full review
